Be One Of God's "Whoevers"

I was meditating on this verse today…

Ps. 50:23

Whoever offers praise glorifies Me;

And to him who orders his conduct aright

I will show the salvation of God.”

So I looked up all the “whoevers” in the Bible where the Lord is saying…”whoever…” There are other occasions where this word is used, but these are some of the great moments when the Lord is challenging us to become one of His “whoevers.” Read these Scriptures and say “yes” to the Lord:

Old Testament 

Prov. 1:33 But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil.”

Prov. 8:35 For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord.

Prov. 15:5 Only a fool despises a parent’s discipline; whoever learns from correction is wise.

Prov. 15:10 Whoever abandons the right path will be severely disciplined; whoever hates correction will die.

Prov. 16:17 The path of the virtuous leads away from evil; whoever follows that path is safe.

Prov. 16:20 He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.

Prov. 21:21 Whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing love will find life, righteousness, and honor.

Prov. 21:23 Whoever guards his mouth and tongue Keeps his soul from troubles.

Prov. 22:5 Corrupt people walk a thorny, treacherous road; whoever values life will avoid it.

Prov. 22:11 Whoever loves a pure heart and gracious speech will have the king as a friend.

Prov. 28:27 Whoever gives to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to poverty will be cursed.

Prov. 29:1 Whoever stubbornly refuses to accept criticism will suddenly be destroyed beyond recovery.

Prov. 29:18 When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful.

Prov. 29:25 The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.

Is. 28:16 Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: “Look! I am placing a foundation stone in Jerusalem, a firm and tested stone. It is a precious cornerstone that is safe to build on. Whoever believes need never be shaken.

Is. 54:15 If any nation comes to fight you, it is not because I sent them. Whoever attacks you will go down in defeat.

Is. 57:13 Let’s see if your idols can save you when you cry to them for help. Why, a puff of wind can knock them down! If you just breathe on them, they fall over! But whoever trusts in me will inherit the land and possess my holy mountain.”

New Testament

Matt. 5:39 But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.

Matt. 5:41 And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.

Matt.7:24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:

Matt. 10:32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.

Matt. 12:50 For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”

Matt. 16:25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

Matt. 18:4 Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Matt. 18:5 Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.

Jn. 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Jn. 4:14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

Jn. 5:54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

Jn. 12:46 I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.

Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’
