Snowflakes

I have always been fascinated by snowflakes and how beautiful each one can be.

When snow crystals are very small, they are mostly in the form of simple hexagonal prisms.  But as they grow, branches sprout from the corners to make more complex shapes - their shapes depend on the temperature and humidity. It is the water (H2O) molecules in an ice crystal that form the hexagon.

When you think about God's courts (Ps. 84:2 I long, yes, I faint with longing to enter the courts of the LORD...) just imagine that He can take you to the area where He designs the snow and hail.

Job 38:22 "Have you visited the storehouses of the snow or seen the storehouses of hail?

Anyway...here are a few beautiful pictures of the intricacies of snowflakes:

What a beautiful God! And what beautiful things He makes!
