1. The Dove—pure and gentle; He is peace—Matt.
3:16–17; 10:16; Jn. 1:32
He represents peace, purity and harmlessness (Matt. 10:16). The dove also signifies devotion - Doves totally love their mates just as Christ loves the Church.

2. Water—our cleansing stream, our water of
life—Ps. 87:7; Jn. 7:37–39. Water is vital for life, and it is a most plentiful substance all over the world. Water cleanses and refreshes just like the Holy Spirit who daily cleanses and refreshes us.
3. Oil—He is the light who brings healing,
power, truth and anointing. The oil also speaks of God’s approval—Lk. 4:18; Jn.
8:12; Acts 10:38; Heb. 1:9

power, but by the Spirit.) Also, wind is independent of man and
unable to be controlled just as the Holy Spirit cannot be
controlled or manipulated.
6. Fire—indicating His continuous presence.
He purifies, protects, illuminates, tests and judges—Ex. 13:21; Acts 2:3; Heb. 12:29. In Matt. 3:11 John the Baptist said that Jesus would baptize us with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

abundance and revival—Ps. 72:6; Hosea 6:3
