Check out this awesome video of J. S. Bach's Cantata 147, Jesu Joy Of Man's Desiring - filmed by a Japanese crew. The giant wooden xylophone/marimba instrument (almost 50 yards long - tilted at 12 degrees) is the creation of Kenjiro Matsuo. Filmed in the Japanese forest of Kyushu.
Here is the behind-the-scenes making of the instrument: Jesu Joy Of Mans Desiring
This whole venture was commissioned by a new mobile phone company advertising: NTT Docomo's Touchwood SH-08C.
At the shoot, a sound engineer held a gun-micrphone and chased the ball. All the sounds are real. The only thing that is changed is the background water sound from the stream was a little loud, and they had to balance that out.
It took 3 days to set up the instrument at the site and 6 hours to film
