We know that there is so much in the Old Testament
about giving thanks to God. The New Testament however, is filled with calls to
give thanks to God. Here are a few thoughts on our continual sacrifice of
praise and thanksgiving that is due to Him:
With Jesus' help,
let us continually offer our sacrifice
of praise to God
by proclaiming the glory of his name.

Family days like Thanksgiving can be difficult for
some. I urge you to rest in the Lord and be thankful to Him as you let Him know
the fears and difficulties that face you today.
Don't fret or worry.
Instead of worrying, pray.
Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers,
letting God know your concerns.
Phil. 4:6 (Message)
