The Words Of My Mouth

Today, I have been thinking about the last point from last night:

The Bride of Christ will be presented to Him –

Without fault - Revelation 14:5 And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God. (These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes.)
Key: In verse 4, we find these holy ones are those who have followed the Lamb wherever He goes. They have kept their eyes on Him and continued without sinning with their mouths. It seems as though this is very important to the Lord – our mouths. This little part can keep us from beholding the Lamb.

I want my eyes to be on the Lamb wherever He goes – I have dedicated my life to be a worshiper and an equipper of worshipers. I feel very convicted about the issue of the tongue.

Recently, I have been going through some very hurtful things with a friend. I  feel quite convicted because of the mumbling and grumbling I have engaged in with the Lord. I am praying right now for the grace to change my grumblings into praise, and keep my eyes on the Lamb

James 1:26 If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless.

James 3:5-6 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles!

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.
8-10 But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God.
Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.
Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening?

The word of the tongue
should have three gatekeepers:
Is it true?
Is it kind?
Is it necessary
(Unknown)

Father - don't let any words come out of my mouth today
that are displeasing to You
