Bryne

YAY!!! We are with some dear friends in the town of Bryne right now. After traveling all over the place and meeting lots of wonderful people, it is even sweeter to be with friends right now.

Here is a look at this delightful area near Stavanger - the city where Norway's oil industry is centered:

We are not that far from the famous Lysefjord and this spectacular scenery

...and Stavanger:

As we travel all over Norway, My prayer is that the Lord will bring her people back to Him, and our feet will make way for the presence and glory of God among these people.
Psalm 47:3, 8
He will subdue the peoples under us,
and the nations under our feet.
God reigns over the nations;
God sits on His holy throne.

Stavanger

We have been in the small town of Bryne near Stavanger for 2 weeks. It is hard to describe how beautiful everything is here. Even though it has rained almost every day, everywhere you look it is like a post card with rich farmland, quaint houses, delightful shopping areas and, of course the dramatic fiords:

This is Pulpit Rock - not far from here

Kjerag Bolt in the same Lysefjord

...and this is for the brave...or the stupid!

Sorry, I don't have my own photos for his posting - I am not equipped with a decent camera, but the beautiful images of this area are in my heart forever. Better still are the dear friends from this area.

We are moving on to other parts of Norway on Tuesday morning.
