I just want to announce the October course for the Worship Arts Conservatory:

Engaging Youth In Worship

This course provides an overview of learning styles and instructional techniques for imparting the heart of worship to children and youth—how to involve them in worship, the gifts of the Spirit and the arts. Students will learn how to implement formal worship activities as well as social/recreational events for youth in church ministry.

I have such a vision to see children and youth growing in passion for God's presence. I invite you to come and join the class this month and inspire us all with your ideas and the work you are doing with young people.

One of the greatest mistakes churches make is that they treat their congregations as an audience. We are not an audience; we are God's ministers and worshipers. What a privilege it is to step into our role as priests, and what wonderful opportunities this opens up for worship when the people function as holy, royal priests

Just so you know - this is a totally online school - you don't have to leave home, you take these classes on your computer. We are able to share back and forth with students and talk about the subjects. It is possible to start taking classes at the beginning of any month.
