We know that the Lord knows everything – He is omniscient…but here are 9
things that the Bible says the Lord knows. If you look over this list, you may
notice that these things are about us – He is watching us and protecting us at
all times; He knows what is in our hearts and thoughts; He knows every path we
take and how to bring us through the darkest of trials.
Somehow I find this very comforting today:
• The Lord knows when we are in the wilderness – He is with us all the
way and provides for us - Deut. 2:7 For the Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hand. He knows
your trudging through this great wilderness. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you; you have lacked nothing." '
• The Lord knows the path we take –
we are His righteous ones - Ps. 1:6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the
way of the ungodly shall
perish.
• The Lord knows all of our days and
He leads us to His eternal inheritance - Ps. 37:18 The Lord knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever.
• The Lord knows all the thoughts of
man - Ps. 94:11 The
Lord knows the thoughts
of man, That they are futile.
• The Lord knows who is humble and
who is proud - Ps. 138:6 Though the Lord is on
high, Yet He regards the lowly;
But the proud He knows from afar.
• The Lord knows all those who trust
in him and He makes a place of refuge for them - Nah. 1:7 The Lord is
good, A stronghold in the day of
trouble; And He knows those who
trust in Him.
• The Lord knows when
we are lying - 2 Cor. 11:31 The God and
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who is blessed forever, knows
that I am not lying.
• The Lord knows all
those who follow Him - 2 Tim. 2:19 Nevertheless the
solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and,
"Let everyone who names the
name of Christ depart from iniquity."
• The Lord knows how
to rescue His people from trials and temptations, and how to bring the ungodly
to eternal justice - 2 Pet. 2:9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the
godly out of temptations and to reserve the
unjust under punishment for the
day of judgment,
May The Lord bless you and keep you today
