As humans, we are unable to keep every promise we make. We might
try hard, but sometimes we forget, we are negligent, there might be
circumstances beyond our control or we might change our mind and decide to go
in a different direction.
The Lord, however, is famous for His promises – Here are some
biblical statements about God’s promises. Take heart and hold on to what He has
promised you – no matter what you might be going through.

23:19; Rom. 4:21; Heb. 6:18
• God will not break His promises or anything that has gone out
of His lips: Ps. 89:34
• God is not slack (or slow) concerning His promises: 2Pet. 3:9

• God keeps His promises for a thousand generations: Deut. 7:9;
Ps. 105:8
• God will bring all His promises to pass: Is. 46:11
• God’s promises to us were established before the world began: Titus
1:2
