7 Things That Are Better

Here are 7 times in the Bible where we are told that 

something is better than another - we should run after the

thing that is better:

Ps. 37:16     A little that a righteous man has Is better than the riches of many wicked.

Prov. 24:16  for though a righteous man falls seven times,

he rises again, but the wicked are brought down by calamity. (NIV)

Ps. 63:3       God’s lovingkindness is better than life itself

Jer. 31:3 The Lord has drawn us with His lovingkindness 

Ps. 69:31     Praise is better than sacrifices

Heb. 13:16  With Jesus' help, let us continually offer our sacrifice of praise

to God by proclaiming the glory of his name. (NLT)

Ps. 84:10     A day in His courts is better than 1000 elsewhere

   Ps. 84:1  How lovely are Your dwelling places

Ps. 118:8     Trusting in God is better than putting confidence in man

 Trust is faith in action

Ps. 118:9     Trusting in God is better than putting confidence in princes

Ps. 20:15 Some trust in horses and some trust in chariots...
but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.

Ps. 119:72   Truth is better than gold or silver

Jn. 8:32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
