Our March course at The Worship Arts Conservatory begins on March 4th. We have open enrollment, so you can sign up for classes at the beginning of each month. After 18 months, you can earn your Associate of Worship Arts degree. All your work is accomplished online - you don't have to leave your home and employment to complete these courses. Students can be worship team members, dancers, church leaders, pastors, congregation members, high school students or anyone interested in worship arts ministry or deeper worship. This month the topic is:
Foundations for
Leadership
Course Description: This course teaches leadership
skills for working in any area of Church ministry leadership. Topics include
mentoring, conflict resolution, leadership styles, and professional development.
Students will have the opportunity to create and share their own vision for
fresh and relevant Christian leadership in the 21st century.
Participants will study:
1. Scriptural foundations for
biblical leadership
2. Models of leadership style and
productivity
3. Successful leaders within the Body
of Christ to identify keys for personal ministry
4. Principles of leadership in the
life of Jesus with special emphasis on servanthood
Goals:
1. Determine and evaluate personal
leadership style
2. Prepare a plan of action for
improvement or adjustments
3. Identify challenges of leadership
in the 21st century
4. Implement plan of action to meet
such challenges
