Life can be so scary at times! I
am so grateful that the Lord is strong and powerful. When we worship, He can
lead us to encounter His attributes and what He does on our behalf. I know we
don’t need to be thinking of the Lord in human terms, but this is what the
Bible says about His arms. Think about running into His arms today:

Ps. 89:21 The Lord strengthens us with His arm
Ps. 77:15 The Lord redeems us with His arm
Ps. 89:10 The Lord scatters our enemies with His arm
Ps. 98:1 The Lord gains the victory with His arm

Is. 51:5 The Lord judges with His arm
Is. 52:10 The Lord saves the nations with His arm
Is. 53:1 The Lord reveals His greatness with His arm

EVERLASTING ARMS
Published in 1887.
Music: Anthony J. Showalter
Lyrics: Showalter and Elisha Hoffman
What a fellowship, what
a joy divine,
Leaning on the
everlasting arms;
What a blessedness,
what a peace is mine,
Leaning on the
everlasting arms.
Refrain
Leaning, leaning, safe
and secure from all alarms;
Leaning, leaning,
leaning on the everlasting arms.
O how sweet to walk in
this pilgrim way,
Leaning on the
everlasting arms;
O how bright the path
grows from day to day,
Leaning on the
everlasting arms.
What have I to dread,
what have I to fear,
Leaning on the
everlasting arms;
I have blessed peace
with my Lord so near,
Leaning on the
everlasting arms.
Deuteronomy
33:27
The
eternal God is your refuge,
And
underneath are the everlasting arms;
He
will thrust out the enemy from before you,
And
will say, 'Destroy!'
We are safe in His arms!
